No work today cos my last day was last friday!!! Wah, today i woke up at 1.30pm... saved on lunch.. haha... den cleaned up my desk, cos it was duper messy and DUSTY... so i cleaned and wiped and threw many things away.. now my desk is kind of empty.. haha...
den went for dinner with antioch gals... it was our farewell ladies nite.. den man yin told her bro to come cos she tot it was antioch farewell... and chi lam almost made it there.. haha.. almost becos while he was still in jurong trying to rush here, he called and we told him actually it's ladies nite but since he's already on his way we welcome him.. haha... but since he wasn't really on his way, so he say he dun come liao.. haha...

My long toes
Hee.. discovered ka hei's blog and why is it called 3 front teeth.. so decide to do a random post on my long toes...
Billy has short toes, and he says my toes are long. I've nv considered that my toes are long until he told me i have long toes... so i started noticing pple's toes in the mrt... and decide that hmm.. my toes are really longer... den after i name my blog mylongtoes, i started to notice that long toes are not uncommon wat...
so when i wanted to change blog name and address, i happened to keep buying shoes that my toes are too long for... Covered toes shoes i mean... when toes are too long, my toes wld curl a little inside the shoe and i walk ard wif curled toes... haha... ya, so i decided that mylongtoes are still funny...
that's it.. haha!

Yea... managed to change my tic back to leave on the 12th nite... Hee... I still cant decide, is it sadder to leave on valentine's night or is it sadder to not even see each other on valentine's... hmm... i'll discover....
this year, i'll have valentine's with my mom.... i don't know what i should feel.... mother just cant be assured to let me go there myself... i nv knew i can cause her so much worry... haha...

Sleepless nite
Cant sleep... So came to write some stuff...
I had actually decided to leave on 14th Feb.. Anyway, my mom has STA holding the ticket... She'll confirm it only tmr so i can still change... Now, i think i might stick back to original plans to leave on the 12th... Had tot that Polly is also leaving on the 12th at 9 plus pm... She'll be in T2, while i in T1... So church mates who wanna be there will be in a very terrible fix lor... But now that i clarify that her flight is 11 plus pm... so it means 12th is not too bad anyway... Leaving on the 12th is a more relaxed date as compared to 14th... i think i'll change it to 12th...
Maybe this is what's keeping me awake.......
My going away feels more real now.. it's really happening now... how do i feel, i don't noe... it made me wanna puke for a moment.. ya, really... when i was on the bus and i kept thinking abt im really going away, i'll be alone there... i suddenly felt like vomiting... *yucks
I have to ensure that boss announce my leaving too... i shall go directly to my direct head tmr to ask her to tell boss to tell everybody else... i dun care if half the office is away on business trips or whatever... i juz want my backpack!! haha...

Hee... changed skin again... Finally, this is one skin i really like... So this shall be it until further plans... HAHA.
2 weeks more before last day at work! But my boss havent announce me leaving leh... chey... den i heard he's going away from 19th jan till feb, so when will he finally announce? You see, this is very impt cos if he dun announce, colleagues will not think of farewelling me, and dear Yasmine cannot tell them what i want for farewell present! hee... Im back from thailand!! No bombings, no blood on the floor, no riots, no fighting, no theives, no baddies... Very normal state of country.. haha... Yeah, im so glad i didnt cancel this trip!!
bangkok is quite clean but can be quite smelly some places.. haha... looks like the very rich and the very poor can live together in the same street... standing on the same spot in the streets of thong lo, not moving my legs at all, on the right there are beautiful high rising condos with excellent artitecture; but on the left is a totally ran down shophouse smelling of pee.
let's not waste time on sight-seeing since they are mostly temples.. haha... but when i do pass by, the temples are indeed really grand. but it saddens my heart to think of all the time and effort man put into building this thing that they mistakenly thinks will benefit them. in a country where poverty, on the whole, is still struggling hard, i wonder how many thais really know what their religion is about? I tend to think that buddhism is juz a way of life they, believers might not even think of it spiritually. Poverty is a straight forward thing. If one does not even have a proper shelter over his hand, what exactly do they think God can do for them? i then to think then, that religion should not stand alone, but be straighten together. Thailand needs more good missionaries, and they need more good politicians as well. One who can re-make the nation. Sg got out of poverty fast and easy becos we are small, but thailand is so much bigger. When will thailand ever catch up then?
tourist eat and drink all the time! wah, it was tom yum craze for me!! Wo-hoo... i've tasted tom yum that are more sour, more sweet, more hot, and boring there.... haha... i've avoided all the street side stores, but billy had a chicken wing from the road side store and viola! diarrhea for the next 2 days.. haha... poor guy... good thing i didnt eat and remained healthy to take care of him! haha... for all the tom yums i've had, my vote goes to the one from "Oldies Cafe" at Siam Center... very nice, it's the one that more sweet... yupz...
shopping shopping! Shopping centres are much much more expensive then at the markets. esp things in siam discovery/center/paragon - is anyhow put price tag one! MBK and Platinum Fashion Mall are fine, quite ok prices but not so nice goods i think.. for me.. my shopping came from:
1. Sapthan Prut night market - 1 t-shirt
2. Chatuchak Weekend market - 2 t-shirts, 2 dresses, 6 lamps
3. Suan Lum night market - 2 necklaces
4. Siam Discovery - 2 bradges
5. Siam Center - 1 cup
6. Streets of Thong lo - slippers
7. Playground shopping centre - 3 tissue covers, 1 notebook from billy
8. Emporium shopping centre - lots of wacoal!!
9. Khao San Road market - 1 necklace, 1 bag, 2 shoes
10. MBK - food snacks as presents
Yupz, should be all that ba... my vote for the best shopping centre, i like siam discovery most despite can be quite expensive. my vote for the best markets are of couse Chatuchak Weekend market (lots of things but not easy to bargain), and Khao San Road market (lesser things but very good bargaining)!!!!
