haha... one funny thing wif my ang mo group mate today... (bkgrd infor, the group consists of 1 angmo guy, 2 chinese gals including moi)
guy: got this jap test tmr, i gotta remember all these (shows us some cards wif chinese/jap characters with jap writings and eng translation)
ya, cos u know, some jap words are identical to chinese words, so we'd (me and the other chinese gal) know the meaning of the words but not how to pronounce it in japanese.
me: tell me what is this? (shows a card that has the word "口")
him: man, i dunno what is that....
me: it's a box! haha... no its "mouth".. haha...
me: what is is? (shows a card that has the word "回")
him: oh no, i dunno whats that too...
me and other gal: its 2 boxes!!!
all burst out laughing, and that guy can only shake his head in disbelief.. HAHA!
later that gal and i figured out that we could go up to 4 boxes! 3 boxes is "品", and 4 boxes could be "田"!!!!!
even later today while on my way home, when the sky was dark at 6pm... i saw this small thing crossing the road in the dark... it was probably like only 3 drawers high, got a head, 2 legs, and 2 hands sticking out... i thoughti saw a baby gorilla!! den as 'it' moved reacher and faster towards me... pew.... it's juz a kid with a thick hoodie on... HAHAHAHA!
