my fingers are numb!
So cold today...!! not raining, but so cold!!! and my fingers have been finger like since the sun set...
one mth ago, i asked my landlord if i could move out earlier at end of jul instead of mid aug cos i wanted to move in wif G and her fren to this pent house unit in the city... she made the house sound so cool but actually i have nv actually seen the house cos she's been too busy... anyway, den my landlord say cannot move out earlier, so i told G i cant make it she better find someone else... in the mean time, R, me, and a couple wanted to rent a 3 bedroom very cool unit - we went to see the place but cos none of us can take it immediately so we kind of juz saw and left... anyway, tat house is not rented out and unavailable liao... :( den like last week, my landlord asked me how early do i want to move.. :s arghh... i told him, prob wun move till aug since he initially told me i cant move out early... den today he brought a girl to come and view the room im staying in... and verbally we agreed that if she moves in on 20th jul and i move out on 19th july, he will give me back my bond amount in full... so yea, i said tentatively we can aim for that, but we need to confirm it later... this evening, i called and found that G already found a tentative flatmate too, so i decided to call the new girl to tell her that i cant move out on 19th cos i would be a bit busy to look for flats (i'd be busy entertaining friends in the holidays! haa..) BUT she said she already signed a lease wif the landlord to start renting my room on the 20th! arggh... den i argued wif my landlord abt how can he not confirm wif me before signing a new lease, and my leasing contract wif him is still valid one lor... he made it sound like i do things all for my own convenience (which of cos i think of myself 1st la, if not think for him meh...) but i think he's doing things for his own convenience rather.. this really pissed me... but later i decided to give in and agree to move out cos anyway, billy and i reckon its prob better to move in july cos by aug, prob everywhere good would have been rented out by the new semester's students...
yea, so my lease will now end on 19th july! and i can move out to improve my standards of living already!! yeah!!! i wanna move above ground floor, so no more landed houses for me...!! (now i know i'll love HDB rather than the bungalows sia...) my new house must have a more decent TV, a sofa good enuff to nua in... yea, and either near uni or near the city or near the pubs... haa... ideally would be in the same area that im already living in.. oohooo!!
